Summary
So there we have it. The 2016 instalment of the European Football Championship is over, and in astonishing fashion, it was Portugal who were crowned champions.
12 years on from losing 1-0 in front of their own fans to Greece, they did the exact same thing to France, an astonishing strike in extra time (or should that be Eder time?) shattering the hosts' dreams in front of their own fans.
And all that after Cristiano Ronaldo had hobbled from the field in tears in the first 20 minutes!
Channeling his inner Eder on SuperBru was the fantastically nicknamed "iandowiesugliersister", a.k.a. Ronan Geary, who finished top of our Global Leaderboard. A healthy nod to two Portugal fans who finished second and third, "Mullie" a.k.a. Craig van Zyl and "mq2613" a.k.a. Helena Quental respectively.
