Summary
So there we have it. The 2016 installment of the European Football Championship is over, and in astonishing fashion, it was Portugal who were crowned champions.
12 years on from losing 1-0 in front of their own fans to Greece, they did the exact same thing to France, an astonishing strike in extra time (or should that be Eder time?) shattering the hosts' dreams in front of their own fans.
And all that after Cristiano Ronaldo had hobbled from the field in tears in the first 20 minutes!
The top manager in our Fantasy Superstars game was France supporter "Zimbo7", a.k.a. Scott Daly – some consolation for his team losing the actual final. Commendable efforts go to our runner-up, Irishman "Collinho" a.k.a. Ciall Nollins, and our global bronze medalist, "mastermind" a.k.a. Brandon McLean.
